It's a great page. I never would have sold it to Ian had it not been used as a coaster by the wife, a drawing pad by the kids and lunch for the gerbil.
A joy to see this page again after so many years. My great aunt Simon had a copy, I remember fondly sitting on her knee, looking in wonder at the pages within. I think she died of ink poisoning from licking this very page. Shame, she had some lovely books.
Yes, I remember fondling your Great Aunt Simon as she died. She had a lovely set of books, including pristine copies of HUZZAH!! volumes 1-16, I believe.
1. A contributor must acknowledge their turn with a comment on the last submission after which they have 3 days to submit their plate.
2. Scene changes may only occur in panel one of each page. A contributor may take this opportunity to start a new chapter. A new chapter may start no less than 4 pages after the last chapter. 3. A contributor cannot follow directly after their last turn and can only Huzzah once per page. 4. If after 60 minutes no contributor has acknowledged their turn then rule 3 is suspended for that round and any contributor may claim the next plate. 5. "HUZZAH!!" draws to a conclusion on December 22nd 2009

I bought this page off Rob on Ebay. He said 'mint condition'. 'Mint' my ass!
*pushes spectacles back up nose* - That is definitely not 'Mint' it's 'Heavily Soiled'.
He should have kept it in an acid-free Mylar bag, placed it in a strongbox and then put that inside a vault situated under 30ft of concrete?
A terrible shame as the artwork is so lovely. If only people could produce work of this quality nowadays.
